Hi. My name is Mindy Gregory, and I have over 29 years of experience as a special educator. After 26 years, I recently made the decision to retire from a school district in St. Charles, Missouri, where I spent 16 years as one of two Special Education Coordinators. Before that position, I worked as a Special Education Teacher at a high school in the same district. Before joining the public school setting, I worked at a psychiatric hospital for 3 years as the Director of Education/Lead Teacher. I have my Doctorate in Exceptional Student Education and my Master's in Special Education as well as my Bachelor's in Elementary Education.

 

How is The Sped Specialist, LLC different from other consulting companies? I am here for the child, the parent, and the business. I will work with the parent and the child to ensure the special education process is understood, and that the result is appropriate and beneficial. I will work with businesses to ensure the staff grasp and appreciate the different pieces of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP). I will be available to train staff in areas related to Special Education such as the Individual Education Plan (IEP).

 

I believe all individuals learn differently, and I believe learning knows no bounds. Every individual deserves the best education possible. Those working with individuals with special needs should also be aware of the needs of the individual to ensure success at all levels.
